The 25th International Walk21 Conference on Walking and Liveable Communities in partnership with the Walk21 Foundation and the support of GIZ is just around the corner! The event will bring together leaders, practitioners, academics, and advocates from across the globe to share experience, inspire action, and advance the international agenda for more walkable, liveable communities.

This year’s conference is themed “Time for Walking”, reflecting both the urgency and opportunity to embed walking into the heart of our cities, communities, and policies. We will explore this through five key themes and this year we have received applications from more than 150 cities across 57 countries, demonstrating the growing global momentum for walking and walkable communities. We have curated an inspiring programme that reflects this diversity of perspectives and experience.
