Mr. Matej Zakonjšek has extensive public and private sector experience, dedicated to integrating Western Balkans’ transport markets into the EU. His career spans diplomacy on EU enlargement, executive roles in Europe and the Middle East, senior advisory posts, and Head of Cabinet to the EU Commissioner for Transport. Since 2020, he has served as Director of the Transport Community Secretariat.
