Salvador is an urban ecologist, president of the Urban and Territorial Ecology Foundation, and founder and director of the Barcelona Urban Ecology Agency from 2000 to 2020. He conceived a new urbanism paradigm: Ecosystem Urbanism and a new urban cell: the supermanzana (SuperBlock), the base of the mobility and public space model and the foundation of the urban planning model for any urban system. Salvador loves the city, but also loves hiking in the mountains. His best projects are his four children.
