Rana Amani is a transport specialist with over 15 years of professional experience in sustainable urban mobility, transport planning, and capacity building.
She currently serves as Technical Advisor with GIZ India under the Indo-German Green Urban Mobility Partnership (GUMP), where she leads national-level initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable, inclusive, and climate-friendly urban transport solutions across Indian cities. Her work spans public transport planning and operations, non-motorized transport (NMT), active mobility, accessibility, gender mainstreaming and strategic capacity building for government stakeholders.
