Abhimanyu Prakash joined GDCI in early 2015 and now the Associate Director of Strategy and Development. He was on the core team developing the award-winning Global Street Design Guide. He has led several projects and activities in the African and Asian cities under the BIGRS program and now supports the organization across all programs in strategic development and growth areas. He continues to support the GDCI teams across all regions on ongoing projects and works with external partners for new areas of work and impact. As an urban designer and architect, Abhimanyu has gained global expertise through his past engagements in India, Germany and New York City. Various multi-scalar public and private projects across German and Indian contexts have helped him hone his skills across scales and gain a holistic approach to urban design.
