Alba Canaj is an architect and urban planner with over 15 years of experience in architecture, infrastructure, public planning, and cultural heritage. She is currently Director of Planning, Economic Development, and Transport in a public entity in Albania, leading smart urban development, mobility, and local economy initiatives.
She has served as a technical advisor on major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and held leadership roles in Albania’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, Ministry of Urban Development. Alba holds degrees in Architecture and Development Cooperation and has received international training in Japan, France, Germany.
She is also President of DoART, promoting urban art and civic space revitalization. A licensed architect and active member of the Albanian Architects Association, Alba collaborates regularly with organizations like UNECE, GIZ, JICA, and the World Bank.
