Carlos believes that walking experiences should play a key role in studying, planning and designing more inclusive, healthy and sustainable communities and places.
He has a PhD in Sustainable Urban Mobility, at the Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development, University of Malta. As a Geographer, with lived experience and expertise on Citizen Science and Geographic Information Systems, he coordinates the use of the Walkability App at Walk21 in several cities around the world.
