Heba is an architect and an urbanist, currently working as a sustainable mobility officer in ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, in its world secretariat in Bonn, Germany. Previously, Heba founded Tabdeel, an organization that advocates non-motorized mobility and provides cultural and design solutions to the urban mobility challenges in Egypt. She was also a part of a national committee that drafted the Egyptian code for cycling infrastructure, and participated in other sustainable mobility policy recommendations. Heba holds a BSc in Architectural engineering from Alexandria University and a MSc of Urban development from TU Berlin.
