Since 1979, Ineke is involved in research and projects on walking. She strives to integrate sustainable mobility, use of public space, placemaking, human behavior and civil engagement, especially by children and elderly people. Ineke is CEO at SOAB consultants and em. professor at BUas University. Ineke is a member of the international Board of Walk21-Europe, promoting pedestrian projects in EU.
