Dr. Nourhan Bassam is a feminist urbanist, assistant professor, and author with a PhD in urban design. She is the co-founder and CEO of The Gendered City, an Amsterdam-based organization working at the intersection of community and urban life, advocating for gender-sensitive design and intersectional feminist approaches to build more inclusive, gender-equal cities.
