Ms. Paschalin Basil is a development researcher and a doctoral student at the Institute for Development Studies- University of Nairobi. She coordinates research projects and oversees strategic partnerships within the Institute. She holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) with a major in Kiswahili and History studies. She is a resource person for the Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF) NextGen scholars’ initiative. Over the last 10+ years she has been implementing multi-disciplinary research and development projects touching on high-priority social-economic development in Kenya, Africa and across the globe.
