Raahgiri Foundation

India

Hi, I’m Sabiha Ansari, and I believe that powerful storytelling can drive real change. I work with the Raahgiri Foundation, Gurugram (Haryana) in India, where I lead communications to promote safer, more inclusive streets and cities. My role allows me to bridge people, policy, and purpose, amplifying community, voices that are often overlooked in urban conversations.

With a background in social impact communication and a gold medalist in Masters – Development Communications (M. A. Development Communications), I have worked on campaigns that advocate for sustainable mobility, climate-friendly infrastructure, and gender-equitable public spaces. Whether it’s curating powerful narratives, designing outreach strategies, or facilitating collaborations, I thrive on creating dialogue that brings citizens, civil society, and governments together.

At the heart of my work is the belief that every voice matters, especially those from the margins. I am particularly passionate about highlighting the everyday heroes in our neighborhoods: the women leading clean-up drives, the children reclaiming streets through play, and the citizens who dare to imagine a better city.

Through Raahgiri and beyond, my goal is to build momentum for change, one story, one street, one step at a time; all for ensuring LIVEABLE CITIES for everyone.
