Shirish Mahendru is a sustainability advocate with over 15 years of experience in the transportation sector, with a strong focus on urban mobility, low-carbon development, and inclusive transport systems. He works extensively with city and state governments across India to identify, design, and implement sustainable transport projects and policy reforms.
He holds a master’s degree in Transport Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has recently completed my Ph.D. focusing on policy interventions for sustainable transport in India.
