Tiago grew up drawing imaginary cities inspired by maps. As a teen, he cycled around Braga, reimagining its urban spaces. He studied architecture at the University of Minho, in Guimarães, Portugal, where he had the chance to develop his knowledge on urban issues. He studied architecture at the University of Minho and spent a year at HafenCity Universität in Hamburg exploring sustainable mobility. Since 2014, he’s worked in Braga’s Planning Dept., where he’s conceived several street design projects and where he contributes to the planning of the city in general. He also attended the University of Porto in 2021-2023 for a post-graduation in Spatial Planning and Urban Project.
