Zohra Mutabanna is an AICP accredited city planner with over 18 years of experience in city growth visioning, transport planning and urban design projects, in India as well as in North and South America, Middle East, etc. Her education background includes an Architecture degree from Mumbai and a Masters in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. Until recently she led the planning practice at IBI Group (now Arcadis) and is now a consultant and team lead of the project support unit for the GIZ-led SUM-ACA (Sustainable Urban Mobility – Air Quality Climate Action and Accessibility) program. Some of her noteworthy work includes the National Guidance Documents on TOD, NMT and PBS; the creation of the Global TOD Resources for the World Bank, and their adaptation for Brazilian cities; preparation of TOD strategies and plans for Bengaluru, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Naya Raipur, Hubbali Dharwad, Dubai, Belo Horizonte, and Rio de Janeiro; and creation of street designs, bus infrastructure and bus service plans for cities in North America and India.
